Of course, and I agree with your first comment. And yes, we are so fortunate for their uncritical and unconditional affection - worth all the money in the world, on an emotional level especially :) xx
So true! And, not just canine; I've experienced that with felines, horses, and rabbits...even Mrs. Rose, I think, in her own way. I've never understood how a person could not love animals...but I know those kind of people are not to be trusted! Oh, I almost forgot to say how much I love the photo you found to illustrate the quote.
... yes, even Mrs Rose. You have a VERY special relationship with that dear little lady of the forest :)
I chose this wonderful image, because it speaks volumes to those who feel the same. It touched my heart, and I'm glad to know it touched yours too, Victoria.
oh, this is sweet... and so true, yes! I feel that all animals, and encounters with animals are a meeting with the Divine. :o) I do enjoy these canine post, Vicki--such a respite for the spirit! In a few days we travel to the US to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family–so happy! And as the holidays approach I’m making a departure from blogland. No worries though, I’ll still be around… ;o) ((LOVE & HUGS))
How true it is. And such a gift.
ReplyDeleteIt's a gift that no money in the world can buy...
DeleteWell, sometimes money can buy it. An adoption fee or maybe just a vet bill, a small thing for such faithful blind pure love.
ReplyDeleteAside from everything else, their affection is priceless.
Deleteno words necessary.
ReplyDeletehold my blue boy close. for me too. ♥

DeleteYou are so right. Animals are priceless, I didn't mean to make it sound otherwise. I thank my lucky stars that I'm able to have them in my life
ReplyDeleteXoxo

ReplyDeleteThank you, Tracy.
DeleteWishing you safe travels and a very happy Thanksgiving with your family. Rest, renew, enjoy :)

It's true, dogs love you no matter what else is happening.
ReplyDeleteWhen that love is returned by us, the bond can be very very strong.
I so agree, River. Very strong indeed.
