Tongues can get us until trouble sometimes... If only we we had tails for more simple, harm-less communication. ;o) LOVE this!! Happy Day, dear Vicki ((BIG HUGS))
Yes, keep wagging tongues still, smile more, hold no grudges, live in the moment, expect little - love lots... the doggie wisdom list goes on :)) Dogs are wise indeed :)
Made me smile. Especially the cat and dog. Tolerance and Acceptance. We could dance as if we have tails. It is hard to wag a tongue when dancing. Have a lovely day, Vicki
I love that quote and both of the photos, especially the second one...reminds me how my cats would cuddle up to Fiona and Bonnie. I think a few of my cats think that now that Fiona and Bonnie are in heaven, it's up to them to be the guard "dogs." Rita and Max will rush to the window by the front door, look out at whoever knocked and growl!
I'm not sure I could get down the street without laughing if people wagged their tails, but I know more than a few who should wag their tongues less. Much less. Lovely photos.
You already know how I feel.... I adore dogs. Most dogs that I know have much more character and know the true meaning of friendship than most people I've met. They are loyal and remain a friend even in times when they should not. and cats....God, I love cats. They will love you and be there for you but if you betray their trust they never forget and rarely forgive.
Dogs are true friends indeed. I consider that an honour. And, it takes a lot to earn a cat's trust and friendship. Heaven help those who break that trust ;)
Makes more friends - and keeps them too.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
I know... must be wonderful to be a dog sometimes :)

ReplyDeleteI think we'd need more than tails... for some of us ;)
DeletePerhaps, we could look on our smile, as our "tail."
ReplyDeleteCan't wag a tail, but we can smile more...
And not use our tongue, as much...
Wisdom... From doggies... :-)

ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet image isn't it?
DeleteI love the idea that it is indeed hard to wag one's tongue - literally and metaphorically - when dancing joyfully.
More dancing!! :D

I too love the second photo - especially the way the two are touching just at the hip... joined at the hip as it were :)
DeleteI love the sound of your cats, they really are unique characters.

I so agree with you there, River :)
