  1. The very, very best of artists. In the sky, in water, moving or still, salt or fresh, in vegetation, in animal life, in avian life and in the weather. Such a varied and talented artist.
And I LOVE the rainbow eucalypt.

    1. I know! Initially, we can be forgiven for thinking it's "painted" :)
There's little wonder that for centuries, artists the world over were, and are, inspired by her incredible beauty.

  3. I've never seen a rainbow eucalyptus, I know they're out there, just none around here, which is a shame.
    They're so bright and beautiful.

    1. Incredibly beautiful.
They are indigenous to the Northern Hemisphere - specifically the tropics and sub tropics and are not resistant to frosts - so they wouldn't do well in our part of the world.
We can view their beauty from afar and hope their forests are protected and preserved.

  5. i have never ever heard of this!
    it's just amazing.
you certainly live in an enchanted land.
and elephant's child said it so well.
    oh my goodness!
i have always loved abstract art. i don't look for hidden meanings of the artist... as art critics are wont to do!
i simply enjoy it for just what it is... an explosion of color and/or texture! and mother nature delivers! XOXO♥

    1. She sure does deliver such divine beauty for us all to delight in.
These gorgeous trees thrive only further up north in the warmer, moist climates, so sadly we don't see them in our cooler areas.
It's just lovely to know such wonders exist isn't it?

  6. Nature blesses us with the ability with senses to see, feel, hear and taste beauty. Just to know that this amazing tree exists makes me appreciate more and more the necessity of not muddling Her Palette with human intervention. Such a talent, this earth is. And what a precious gift it gives us.

I wouldn't mind having a canvas or framed print of this gorgeous bark in my home - what a conversation starter it would be.
