    1. Hi Tracey.
Yes, we need a place to forget about the crazy in this world - even if only for a little while :)

  3. Oh! How beautiful this is...you're right, it is magical. And, I'm pretty sure I see the face of a faery in the tree bark!

    1. Ahh, you too Victoria! Soft eyes you see, soft eyes ;)

I love this, from 'The Minpins' by Roald Dahl...

  4. That is just so beautiful. There is magic in water - all water and I do love those silent pools. Serene and beautiful. Thank you so much for this gift.

    1. Thank you EC :)
Yes, there is powerful magic in water indeed.
And something deep and instinctive about gazing into "those silent pools". An ancient and beautiful form of divination.

    1. I agree Tracy. And, places like this are best experienced in silence.
Whenever I go there, I always feel it's best enjoyed quietly, in a kind of reverence - it has an "otherwordly" quality to it, a sanctuary away from the mundane.
Have a lovely week :) xx

    1. Oh yes, this place is a delight for the senses. Each season here casts its own magic upon you when you walk down the stone steps and enter this "otherworld".
A place of contemplation and appreciation - a gift to the senses :)
