In the morning, I would go into great room to see them patiently waiting for their families to wake up. All I had to whisper---o hi o go sigh mas (Japanese for good morning) and those tails wiggled. Outside we all went while everyone else slept in. Such heaven on earth are happy dogs. But, we make sure he's comfortable at all times, and he gets around pretty well. He's still very eager to go for walks in open, familiar places like parks and ovals. His olfactory senses are amplified, and he loves new, interesting smells and wee-mails more than ever!
He's a happy boy - just sleeps a lot more now - dear old soul :)

It takes such a very long time for the heart to heal after the loss of a dearly loved companion. I was wondering if he goes on in some other dimension and the thought of that - along with the thought that even if he doesn't, I still got the pleasure of a life with him. But I much prefer (a) rather than (b) and I know your take on this :) I think from time to time of your doggie appearing to you. I was thinking about it the other day when it was misty and foggy :)Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01122659239039900398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404847464369238465.post-88727824974183554362014-06-02T18:57:01.434+10:002014-06-02T18:57:01.434+10:00Oh, I love the dog posts, Vicki! And this quote is...Oh, I love the dog posts, Vicki! And this quote is quite true... and quite true for most animals in general, I think. Our kitty Charlie can be very expressive with the tail sometimes. ;o) I will miss him on our trip now. Sometimes I wonder if the world be a more simple place to dwell in if we were more like animals--a swish of a tail saying so much, and that's all we'd need to communicate. Interesting to think about! Look forward to catching up with you again soon when we get back.
